Check the tenancy for rent, utilities, broadband and other agreed charges. Write down what you must arrange separately before choosing a provider.
Record the starting point
Keep dated meter readings and the moving date. Identify the existing providers and how to contact them. Check broadband contract length, total cost and cancellation terms.
Keep the account details together
Store payment dates and account references safely. Check whether you need a TV Licence using the official rules for what you watch, rather than whether you own a television.
